Understand more about the seal:
The Neutral Event Seal is a voluntary initiative for organizations that care about climate change and are committed to decarbonization and sustainability. The seal is the recognition for the compensation of carbon emissions that could not be avoided, through the support of high-quality socio-environmental projects.
How carbon offsetting works:

Travel, energy consumption, and waste generation emit greenhouse gases

These emissions are quantified in kg of CO2 using internationally recognized methodology

A certified environmental project that absorbed the same amount of carbon is supported

This project is financially rewarded for carbon offsetting

In this way, the company receives the seal and certificate of the carbon offsetting program with traceability of the action

Santa Maria REDD+

Located in the northern state of Mato Grosso, within the area known as the Legal Amazon, the Santa Maria forest project spans 71,714 hectares of native forest. In an area under intense deforestation pressure, known as the Deforestation Arc, forest preservation significantly contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting local biodiversity. In addition to preserving the Aripuanã River, the project prevents erosion, creates natural firebreaks, and generates 330 local jobs, promoting wage equality and training for the community.
