Understand more about the seal:
The Neutral Event Seal is a voluntary initiative for organizations that care about climate change and are committed to decarbonization and sustainability. The seal is the recognition for the compensation of carbon emissions that could not be avoided, through the support of high-quality socio-environmental projects.
How carbon offsetting works:

Travel, energy consumption, and waste generation emit greenhouse gases

These emissions are quantified in kg of CO2 using internationally recognized methodology

A certified environmental project that absorbed the same amount of carbon is supported

This project is financially rewarded for carbon offsetting

In this way, the company receives the seal and certificate of the carbon offsetting program with traceability of the action

Manoa REDD+

The Manoa REDD+ Project preserves 73,079 hectares of the Amazon Rainforest in Cujubim, RO, functioning as an ecological corridor and refuge for over 780 species of fauna threatened by deforestation on neighboring properties. Since 2013, the initiative has annually reduced 279,000 tons of carbon, promoting biodiversity conservation and educating the local population about sustainable practices. In 30 years, the project will prevent the deforestation of 22,118 hectares, significantly contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the conservation of local biodiversity, with economic benefits for the community.
