Aligned with its commitment to reduce environmental impact, Ouro Verde will plant 70 seedlings of native trees from the Atlantic Forest aiming to offset the impacts created by the use of energy and burning of fossil fuels for the 2022 Sales Convention event.
Environmental challenges have never been as critical and urgent as today. Every year, large amounts of energy and resources are consumed for humans to maintain their consumption patterns, and CO2 emissions continue to increase, especially in transportation.
Aware of this issue, Ouro Verde, committed to the Environment, constantly seeks to reduce the environmental impact of its activities and services, preventing pollution and ensuring the sustainable use of the natural resources on which we depend.
Ouro Verde is also committed to meeting applicable legal requirements and seeking continuous improvement in its environmental performance.
The planting was carried out at Fazenda Santana, in the municipality of Tietê, São Paulo. The action is part of an environmental restoration project and will benefit local fauna and flora as well as contribute to water production, in addition to the climate issue.
